I have been holding off on posting Sol’s new video because I thought it would be a particularly odd post to follow my interview with Wiggo but then I came to my senses and remembered that bikes is bikes is bikes!

Bradley Wiggins and Team Sky may be changing the future of British cycling in Le Tour at the mo but right on the other end of the scale we have Ninja Cats‘ Sol Smith jumping off stuff that no fixed gear bike should rightly be able to jump off.

A couple of months back I stopped watching fixed freestyle videos, there’s a constant stream of complete wackness being pumped out by West Coast Americans and I decided to stop wasting my time in the hope that some would be good.

I still watch anything from Wolfdrawn and a few others because they’re always good and of course everything by London’s very own Ninja Cats. This new one of theirs is bang on as usual with a good mix of big and wacky chucked into a blender and poured into your eyes.

At long last they have their Big Cartel shop set up with a range of black and white tees, get Paypalling y’all!

Ninja Cats’ latest video is a collection of clips they didn’t use last year. The fact that these unused tricks are more creative, fun and stylish than most other videos from last year is testament to the sheer quality of the London fixed freestyle scene.

Everyone has some good stuff in here but the two standout parts for me are Gus and Hectors, Oscar’s tyre slide down a handrail is ridiculous too. Be sure to check out Greg Falski’s outtakes from the last 12 months as well.

London’s Ninja Cats crew have added Christian Newell to their roster of steeze oozing fixed gear freestyle riders. He recently had a date with the business end of a car so he’s out of action for a while but I’m sure all his future videos are gonna be rad going on the strength of this one. Killer nose pivots and backwards slidey shit is what this video is all about, love it.

I don’t know what or who a Scrillex is and I don’t think I want to know, I’m sure it’s not as good a Scalextric, especially the Le Mans 24hr I had when I was a kid. The cars were so bloody fast they kept flying off the track so we took it back to Toys ‘R’ Us and swapped it for a Mask Boulder Island.

As always the Ninja Cats boys kill it, steeeeeeeeze.

Lewis ‘Ninja Cats’ Berrill put together this video of the extended 14 Bike Co family killing it at the Eurobike trick comp this year. There are plenty of bangers in there and the fun is turned up to 110% which is about 90% too much fun for me, I’m a miserable bastard.
