Matt Rodriguez – Tincan Folklore

My first job was in a skate shop called The White Room, it was the best skate shop ever. There was no heating and very few customers but there was a setee, tv and video player so it was all good.

When Tincan Folklore by Stereo came in we were all disgusted, the cassette was white plastic and we were having absolutely none of it, it was too weird. We played it and decided that it was just shit and it became a bit of a joke that we couldn’t sell it but in time I came to love it and realised that it was actually amazing. It became my favourite skate video, probably ever, and I used to watch Matt Rodriguez’s part every day then bomb the hill into town whilst ollieing driveways and stuff, totally SF I was. Enjoy…
