Something for the (Weird) Weekend

I totally forgot to post this a few months ago when I spotted it on the 14 Bike Co blog. It’s easily one of the weirdest cycling related videos out there!

“Cadence is a 3D animated object that is taking shape in part as a real object and as a 3Danimerad video loop. To the sounds of Johann Staruss II, An der schönen blauen Danube, trampling the idealized cycle legs tirelessly their way through space. The movement is central. The body and the feet are dissolved. Remains are the tanned plastic legs. The muscles testify to a great power, but what are they really doing? Pedaling air or dance for an eternity.”

Whatever it means, I like it.
