Lovely Clouds and a Brutal Headwind

buzzard on betws mountain

On Saturday Myron from City Fix got the train from smelly old Cardiff to hit some hills with me.

We rode a variation on one of my favourite routes and we got absolutely battered by a 20mph headwind for the last 20 miles or so.

There’s not much else to say really, the clouds were nice so just check out some photos…

There was a red kite, not seen one here before so that was good…

So good in fact that here is a second photo! In the very first photo of this post there is a buzzard too, sweet!

As always the ride is up on Strava and Ride with GPS.

there’s a red kite feeding centre near the black mountain where you are in the photos,a place called llanddeisant, they chuck meat out in the field and literally hundreds of kites show up,pretty epic if you ever get a chance to check it out.

I didn’t realise the feeding station was so close to the Black Mountain, I thought it was much further north.
