Friday Night Ride to the Coast – Cardiff to Swansea by Moonlight

‘Friday Night Ride to the Coast’ is a series of annual rides that take place at night and end at the, uh, coast.

They run all over the UK (list) throughout the year and even though I’ve never been on one before I’m sure they are super fun which is why I want to take part this year.

I know there are a lot of Foot Down readers in Cardiff and I live in Swansea so that route is the obvious choice for me and it would be great to meet a bunch of you so put July 6th-7th in your diary and lets do this!

Either I am going mad or there aren’t any times on their site but I’ll find them out well in advance, I’ve got a feeling we’d leave Cardiff at midnight and arrive in Mumbles in time for breakfast.

Word is that you have to have 3rd party insurance to take part which we can get for £15 through the CTC, again I’ll get more details about that. Joining the CTC will cover us for a full year and get us discount in some shops too so 15 quid isn’t too bad.
