Timothy Spall stars in a new short film that is going to be shown during the opening ceremony of this years Olympic Games in London.
The film, written by Prasanna Puwanarajah, is the winner of the British Airways Great Britons competition and is about a father dealing with the loss of his cyclist son.
One thing I really hate about ‘short films’ is that there is never any talking in them and they always try and pull at your heartstrings with extreme close-ups of eyes. This one is no different from all the others except that in this case the ‘silent’ aspect is a rare positive because of its intended worldwide audience. As far as these things go it’s actually quite a nice little film.
Timothy Spall is always a winner so pop the kettle on and have a watch…
