Jimmy Saville, Bicycle Racer

I’ve known for a while that Jimmy Saville was a keen cyclist in his younger days and it was cool to see some archive riding footage on a programme about him on TV tonight.
He actually raced in the 1951 Tour of Britain which is a super cool fact, it was clear from tonights footage that he was a decent rider. There are a few more bike photos of him on vintagelightweights.co.uk none are quite as rad as the shot above of him with his custom Viking though.
